Product description The KVM-8-E Switch & 8 x UI-200E Extender Kit from Apantac includes one 8-port KVM switch with a built-in CATx extender and 8 universal interface/extender units. The KVM-8-E switch is a dual interface (PS2 / USB) KVM Switch with built-in CATx extender / receiver. It can locate CPUs from up to 650' away, and supports resolutions of up to 2048x1536. The KVM-8-E has an auto-scan feature, and a username/password can be assigned for each port. It features front panel selection buttons, and status LED indicators. No software is required in order to operate this unit properly. This switch is 1RU rackmountable, and multiple units can be cascaded.
The included UI-200E interface/extender units are designed to extend KVM from your PCs/servers to your KVM-8-E switch. These interface units are powered via PS2 or USB, and can extend up to 650' away. Each can be used to cascade two KVM switches together to form larger system. - KVM Switch
