Product description The Apantac SDI Audio De-Embedder with Unbalanced Analog Audio Breakout Cable -- outstanding among its features is a 16 channel audio meter that upon your plugging in an SDI signal instantly confirms whether the signal has embedded audio.
The de-embedder functions as a DA -- all the outputs can function simultaneously. Altogether five outputs are available: two reclocked SDIs that both carry the video and audio of the input, an AES BNC out, a AA headphone jack analog audio out, and a DB-25 out for a breakout cable. A rotary switch linked to the AA output will let you switch between the 16 channels of the input and listen to each separately. The data rate for the SDI input and outputs is up to 2.97 Gbps.
The included breakout cable features 16 mono analog unbalanced BNC outputs that will each carry one of the 16 channels of the input. If your SDI input has only 8 channels, the first 8 connectors on the breakout cable will be the active ones. - Key Features
