Product description Designed for electronics in your home or office, such as computers and related equipment, network devices (modem/router), POS devices, CCTV circuits, televisions, video game consoles, and more, the Battery Back-UPS Pro BX1000M from APC helps protect against surges, spikes, lightning, and outages. In the case of a power outage, it can provide up to 2 minutes of runtime at max load, 10.6 minutes at half load, and 207 minutes at 10W. It also provides an output capacity of 1000 VA / 600W, eight total NEMA5-15R outlets (four battery backup & surge and four surge-only), an input voltage of 120 VAC at 60 Hz ± 3 Hz using its 6' cord with a NEMA 5-15 plug, a surge energy rating of 1103 joules, and 1Gb of dataline protection. Its sealed, lead-acid battery is maintenance-free and can be replaced using an APCRBC158 replacement battery. The BX1000M outputs 98 to 139 VAC at 60 Hz ± 1 Hz (on utility) and 115 VAC ± 8% at 60 Hz ± 1 Hz (on battery).
For areas for inconsistent power grids, Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) helps provide stability against voltage fluctuations, overvoltages, and brownouts. This UPS has an integrated LCD display that shows information on the utility and system status, and PowerChute Personal Edition software can help track power quality, configure alarms, and shut down your computer during an outage.
When compared to the previous generation of APC's Back-UPS systems, this model features a more compact design with a smaller footprint, surge protection improvements, and improved 1Gb dataline protection.
