Product description The black P8T3 SurgeArrest 120V 8-Outlet Surge Protector from APC has a 6' cord, and allows you to power up to eight electronic devices using a single outlet. The power strip provides protection against surges of up to 2770 joules in strength. This surge protector features a phone line splitter, which allows you to use a modem and a phone at the same time, and components such as MOVs and thermal fuses ensure instantaneous reaction to lightning strikes and wiring faults. This surge protector will warn you if its circuitry has been damaged by heavy strike or power line surge. - Phone Line Splitter
- Allows the use of two pieces of equipment at once, such as a modem and phone
- Resettable Circuit Breaker
- Helps to recover from overloads; no need to replace a fuse
- Receptacle Shock Safety Shutters
- Shutters protect users from accidental contact with unused outlets
- Fail-Safe Mode
- The P8T3 SurgeArrest is fail-safe, which means that once its protection circuitry has been compromised, the SurgeArrest disconnects plugged-in equipment from the AC power line, ensuring that no damaging surges reach the equipment
- Protection Working Indicator
- The P8T3 surge protector will warn you if its circuitry has been damaged by a heavy strike or power line surge and it is unable to provide complete protection. If still under warranty, APC will then replace your damaged SurgeArrest free of charge
- Catastrophic Event Protection
- The P8T3 SurgeArrest components such as MOVs and thermal fuses ensure instantaneous reaction to lightning strikes and wiring faults. If the surge components are damaged due to a power spike or over voltage, excess power cannot reach your equipment. This ensures protection to your equipment from other damaging surges
- Transformer Block Spacing
- This device allows you to connect bulky transformer block plugs without covering up other outlets
- Overload Indicator
- The indicator illuminates when connected equipment draws more power than the unit's capacity. To resolve the problem, unplug less vital equipment
- Building Wiring Fault Indicator
- The Building Wiring Fault Indicator LED informs users of potentially dangerous wiring problems in the wall circuit
- Noise Filtering
- Attenuates EMI/RFI line noise that can cause data errors and keyboard lockups, ensuring better performance of protected equipment
- Right Angle Plug
- The right angle plug allows for equipment and furniture to be placed closer to the wall than with a standard power cord. It also reduces cord stress
- 180° Rotating Cord Retainer
- A 180° rotating cord with strain relief offers flexibility in positioning this device and in routing the power cord
- Adjustable Cable Management
- Keeps cords and cables neat and organized
- Lightning and Surge Protection
- Prevents damage to your equipment from electric power surges and spikes
- Equipment Protection Policy
- Lifetime $150,000 equipment protection policy
- IEEE Let-Through Ratings and Regulatory Agency Compliance
- This surge protector has a let-through rating of less than 85V, which is the maximum voltage level that can reach your equipment after a surge or voltage spike has been suppressed. This device complies with local agency safety requirements, including UL in North America and CE/Kema/Gost/C-tick/A-Tick/Telepermit in their respective regions
