Product description - APC - ESSENTIAL SRGEARST 6O w/5V/2-USB/120V
Power disturbances such as surges, lightning, and power grid fluctuations can have a negative impact on the electronics you rely on everyday. To this extent, the APC PE6U2 Essential SurgeArrest 6-Outlet Surge Protector with USB Charging helps to provide basic protection against power surges and spikes for computers and similar electronics. It has six NEMA 5-15R outlets, one NEMA 5-15P input, an input/output voltage of 104-126 VAC, a 15A input/output current, a line frequency of 50/60 Hz, and a surge energy rating of 1080 joules. It also has two integrated 2.4A USB Type-A charging ports for devices such as smartphones and tablets, and one of those ports is equipped with Smart Charging technology to help maximize charging speeds according to the type of device detected. This SurgeArrest model utilizes an integrated 6' power cord, is protected by a limited lifetime warranty, and connected equipment that is damaged while the SurgeArrest is active will be covered up to $50,000. APC's SurgeArrest contains fail safe protection, which means that once the circuit of an APC SurgeArrest has been compromised, the unit disconnects equipment from the power supply, helping to ensure that no damaging surges reach your equipment.
