Product description Protect your valuable electronics, such as computers, televisions, sound systems, game consoles, projectors, home appliances, and more from dangerous surges, spikes, and lightning using the Performance SurgeArrest 10-Outlet Surge Protector with USB Charging from APC. This unit has 10 NEMA 5-15R outlets, four of which are spaced to accommodate larger transformer plugs, and a standard NEMA 5-15P input connection. It uses an input voltage of 120V @ 50/60 Hz with a 15A current, a maximum load of 1800W, and has a surge energy rating of 4320 joules. There are also two integrated USB Type-A charging ports that provide 2.4A for devices such as smartphones and tablets. This SurgeArrest model utilizes an integrated 6' power cord and turns on and off using an integrated power switch. Protection is provided by a limited lifetime warranty, and connected equipment that is damaged while the SurgeArrest is active will be covered up to $300,000, subject to APC's terms and conditions. Safety - Overload Indicator
- This indicator illuminates when connected equipment draws more power than unit's capacity. To remedy the condition, unplug less vital equipment.
- Plug Activated Safety Shutters
- Shutters protect users from accidental contact with unused outlets.
- Protection Working Indicator
- SurgeArrest will warn you if its circuitry has been damaged by heavy strike or power line surge and it is unable to provide 100% protection. If still under warranty, APC will then replace your damaged SurgeArrest free of charge.

- APC surge protectors undergo stringent testing by IEEE, and are awarded "let-through ratings," which indicate the maximum voltage level that can possibly reach your equipment after a surge or voltage spike has passed through an electric surge protector. Lower IEEE let-through ratings indicate better protection and performance. The APC Essential SurgeArrest series offers performance with a let-through rating of less than 330V to 500V for North American products and a rating of less than 15% for products sold worldwide. All APC products comply with local agency safety requirements, including UL in North America and CE/Kema/Gost/C-tick/A-Tick/Telepermit in their respective regions.
