Product description The APC Smart-UPS X 3000VA Rack/Tower LCD 100-127V provides a continuous supply of battery power for connected devices in the event of an AC power loss. It also safeguards equipment from surges, spikes, lightning, and electrical disturbances. An on-board LCD display, available in multiple languages, gives you a comprehensive and precise readout on critical system functionality. A unique feature of this UPS is green mode which, by bypassing unused electrical components in good power conditions, saves energy costs while reducing the impact on the environment.
This UPS incorporates a notification process which will let you know the month and year that the battery is recommended for replacement so you can plan ahead of time. The system will also notify you if it detects a problem with the battery so you can take the proper measures before it fails completely. Thanks to hot-swap support you can replace the battery on the fly without interrupting the UPS' surge protection functionality.
This UPS features a USB connection that enables configuration and control from a PC. It also has a Smart-Slot for integrating the UPS into a network for remote accessibility. There's also an Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) which ensures clean and uninterrupted AC power by correcting low and high voltage conditions without using the battery.
This UPS features an intelligent battery management that prolongs battery life by using a charging method that takes into account the battery's age, capacity, temperature, and other factors. An automatic self-test function periodically checks the efficiency of the battery and provides notification when the battery is nearing the end of its usefulness. If the battery requires replacement it can be done easily without the need for tools. The system will also notify you if the battery is disconnected. An LED indicator lets you see at a glance power and battery status. The UPS also features an automatic restart function which will automatically power up devices after AC is restored.
