Power Disruption Protection
• Capable of supporting large power loads coming from blade servers and heavily loaded equipment racks, the APC Symmetra SYA12K16RMP ensures critical IT devices stay powered and fully functional during outages and demanding power conditions. Network-grade power conditioning safeguards connected devices from damaging surges, spikes, lightning, and disruptive noise. This UPS supports 208V input voltage while supplying simultaneous 208V and 120V output voltages. It offers reliable battery backup to up to 12 connected devices: 8 devices with L5-20R plugs and 4 devices with L14-30R plugs. This unit can also be configured for 120/240-output voltage. Double-conversion architecture provides tight voltage regulation, frequency regulation, and zero transfer time to the battery during challenging power events.

Scalable Power
• Offering 9600 watt/12,000-volt ampere output power capacity, the Symmetra SYA12K16RMP is designed to seamlessly support multiple power-hungry IT devices. A scalable design allows the Symmetra to be configured with additional power modules or batteries after initial equipment purchase to accommodate loads of up to 12,800 watts/16,000 volt amperes, enabling the UPS to grow with your IT needs.

Redundant N+1 Architecture
• The Symmetra is configurable for N+1 redundancy, allowing it to withstand failures of modules by allowing configuration with one more module than is necessary to support the connected load. Redundant modules also provide higher availability to connected devices by sharing loads equally across all modules during normal operation.

Modular Design
• The APC Symmetra SYA12K16RMP features a modular design that allows fast serviceability and reduced maintenance requirements thanks to self-diagnosing, field-replaceable modules. An interchangeable power distribution panel ensures compatibility with equipment that has different plug types, while user-replaceable intelligence, power, and battery modules enable simple upgrades and replacements to the UPS.

Intelligent Battery Management
• The APC Symmetra SYA12K16RMP is equipped to maximize battery life by regulating charge voltage according to battery temperature and conducting automatic periodic self-tests. These self-tests dynamically assess the current conditions of your UPS battery and notify you of any impending replacements, effectively enabling you to proactively manage your IT environment so you and your business can more easily avoid downtime. An alphanumeric LCD display clearly displays system parameters and alarms.

Network Card for Remote Management
• This UPS comes preinstalled with an APC AP9631 Smart Slot network management card, which enables remote UPS management and environmental monitoring by connecting the UPS directly to the network. Up to eight users can simultaneously access the user interface via web browser to quickly and easily access the UPS, and up to three users can access the network command line interface.

Simple Management and Control
• The accompanying PowerChute Network Shutdown software provides UPS management, safe system shutdown, and innovative energy management capabilities for your Symmetra SYA12K16RMP. In the event of an extended power outage, graceful unattended shutdown ensures no information is lost and time to recovery is minimized.
