Product description The Universal Transfer Switch 6-Circuit 120V from APC is an automatic transfer switch, designed for use in optional standby systems. The switch provides power for up to 6 circuits in a home or office. Power can be derived from either 1 or 2 independent backup sources. These sources can include generators, UPS systems, solar inverters, or other alternative energy sources.
When connected to electrical equipment, the backup power source can provide power during outages. When used in conjunction with a UPS, it protects equipment from brownouts, sags, surges, and outages.
