Product description Keep your data safe with the 480GB Aegis Secure Key 3.0 Flash Drive from Apricorn. This USB 3.0 drive is protected with with 256-bit AES military grade hardware encryption and a seven to sixteen digit PIN. Its drive reset feature clears pins, destroys data, and generates a new random encryption key for reuse.
The Aegis' crush-resistant extruded aluminum chassis is tamper evident while an epoxy compound prevents the removal of internal circuitry without causing permanent damage. It automatically locks upon removal from the computer or loss of power, or after a pre-programmed period of inactivity.
To prevent the access of unauthorized individuals with keyloggers or brute force attacks, the Aegis has its own wear-resistant keypad for entry. The Brute Force Hack Defense Mechanism deletes the encryption key and all data if the incorrect PIN is entered up to a total of 20 consecutive times. - Compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux, and any USB enabled host
- The Aegis is protected against dust and water and carries an IP58 designation, which means that it can be submerged in a meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

- Alphanumeric keypad uses a memorable number or word for your PIN of 7-16 digits
- Supports independent admin and user PINs

- Crypto-parameters protected with SHA-256 hashing
