Product description

Waterproofing
• • Features a depth rating of 295', which can be upgraded to 426' upon request
  • This version of the housing includes a pre-installed vacuum check system, which allows you to confirm watertight integrity before the dive
  • Known as the Vacuum Circuitry and Alarm Kit, the atmospheric pressure-sensitive system consists of a vacuum valve, an extracting pump, and a SURVEYOR moisture alarm/pressure sensor with an on/off switch
  • Moisture alarm features temperature compensation to prevent change in ambient temperature from affecting its accuracy
  • Valve and extracting pump contribute by ensuring that a solid vacuum is created inside the housing

Controls
• • Mechanical controls provide easy access to virtually all camera functions, and dual ergonomic hand grips afford optimal handling and comfort
  • Knurled knobs and oversized controls, such as the multi-controller SET button, make for easy operation, even when wearing gloves
  • Benefit from a toggle lever for the function (Fn) and depth-of-field preview (Pv) controls, in addition to smooth operation of all video controls
  • A redesigned, larger lens gear system allows for smoother zooming during video recording
  • The left-hand quick lever provides easy ISO sensitivity selection, and the left-hand function buttons are angled and positioned for faster access
  • On the right-hand side, the live view lever has been relocated closer to your thumb

Construction Details
• • Precision-built using advanced, 5-axis, computer-assisted machines
  • Constructed from an aluminum alloy that has been anodized to North American military specifications to ensure extreme corrosion resistance
  • For further protection against the elements, it features corrosion-resistant, sacrificial zinc anodes and a baked-on layer of powder-coated paint
  • All push-buttons are made of Type 304 stainless steel

Lens Port System
• • Ships without a required lens port, though various interchangeable ports are available for wide-angle, macro and zoom lenses

External Strobe Use
• • This version of the housing has a single Ikelite 5-pin connector for the attachment of optional external strobes via sync cords
  • These strobes can be connected to optional support arms, such as Aquatica's Technical Lighting Control arms, which can be conveniently mounted onto the housing's grip handles
  • Housing is ready to accept a third-party TTL converter, which is available separately and will enable TTL flash exposure. Manual exposure is available by default
  • Aquatica's strobe connectors are user-serviceable and can be replaced quickly, without any special tools

Viewfinder
• • The Galileo-type eyepiece is a coated optical viewfinder offering a full view of the camera's finder
  • The optional, coated Aqua View Finder offers an enlarged, enhanced view with 100% coverage, corner-to-corner sharpness, and internal dioptric adjustment

Mounting
• • Both grips have mounting holes ready to accept Aquatica's Technical Lighting Control (TLC) arms and other optional support arms
  • Redesigned camera tray allows you to insert and remove the camera using a simple push tab
  • Zoom-actuating pinion gear and lens-release lever enable you to remove the camera from the back while keeping a lens and zoom gear attached
  • Three bulkhead access holes are provided to accept multiple external accessories, such as Aquatica's remote trigger (#19304), Water Wizard external radio transceiver housing (#15500), external monitors, and more
  • An extra mounting point for a focus/video light or other accessory is located on top of the housing
  • Three additional mounting points are provided underneath for various brackets or a tripod

Optional Hydrophone
• • Enables the recording of sound when shooting video beneath the water's surface
