Product description Capture brilliant photos and 4K UHD video of parrot fish, moray eels, and coral reefs with your Nikon D500 DSLR camera in Aquatica's AD500 Underwater Housing. The enclosure has a depth rating of 295', which can be upgraded upon request to 426'. An Ikelite TTL/manual connector enables the attachment of optional external strobes via sync cords. The standard, coated eyepiece offers a full view of the camera's viewfinder, and the coated Aqua View Finder, also included, offers an enlarged, enhanced view with 100% coverage, corner-to-corner sharpness, and dioptric adjustment. The housing provides access to virtually all camera functions via mechanical push-button, knob/dial, and lever controls. It also features an ergonomic design with two grips that offer improved handling and attachment points for optional lighting arms. Built for durability, especially resistance to corrosion, the housing is constructed from an anodized, machined aluminum alloy and stainless steel. The AD500 ships without a required lens port, and various interchangeable ports are available to accommodate a wide array of Nikon lenses. - Built for durability, especially resistance to corrosion, the housing is made in Canada from an anodized 6061 T6 aluminum alloy and stainless steel
- Anodizing meets MIL-A-8625 Type 2, Class 2 specification
- Housing shell is crafted using 5-axis, computer-assisted machines
- Black polyester powder coating is baked on at a high temperature for extra protection (meets A.A.M.A 2603-98 specification)
