Product description Capture brilliant photos and Full HD 1080p video of parrot fish, moray eels, and coral reefs with Aquatica's AD800 Underwater Housing for the Nikon D800 or D800E digital SLR camera. It has a depth rating of 295', which is upgradeable upon request to 426', and features a Surveyor moisture alarm and pressure sensor that will alert you in the unlikely event of a breach in the waterproof seal. This version of the housing also includes a pre-installed vacuum check system, which allows you to confirm watertight integrity before the dive. One fiber-optic connector and one Nikonos connector with 5 active pins enable the attachment of optional, external strobes via fiber-optic cables or sync cords. The standard, coated eyepiece offers a full view of the camera's OVF, and the coated Aqua View Finder, also included, offers an enlarged, enhanced view with 100% coverage, corner-to-corner sharpness, and dioptric adjustment. The housing provides access to virtually all camera functions via mechanical controls. Thanks to a unique toggle lever, the AD800 is the first of its kind from Aquatica to offer access to the Fn and DOF preview buttons. Various custom functions can be assigned to each of these buttons. The housing also has dual ergonomic grips enabling smooth underwater handling and the attachment of lighting arms. It is made from an anodized, powder-coated aluminum alloy and stainless steel for noteworthy durability, and is machined on advanced, 5-axis, computer-assisted machines for extreme precision. The AD800 ships without a required lens port, and accepts various interchangeable ports for wide-angle, zoom, and macro lenses.
