Product description The Optical Flash Trigger for Canon 5D Series from Aquatica allows the use of a fiber optic sync instead of an electronic sync for underwater photography with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Mark III, Mark IV or 5DS R. Fiber optic sync can improve the seal integrity of your Aquatica underwater camera housing and isn't subject to corrosion like a bulkhead or in a strobe. It is also less expensive, and fiber optic sync cords can be repaired in the field. Fiber optic sync is normally triggered by the camera's pop-up flash, a feature the 5D doesn't have. So the Optical Flash Trigger fits on the camera's hot shoe and sends an LED-light command to the strobes via two included optical ports.
