Product description This Remote Capture System from Aquatica allows the photographer to immerse a camera in its Aquatica underwater housing beneath the water's surface, and change its up and down tilt angle at a distance by sliding a handle. It includes a pole with a tilting mechanism to which the housing will be attached. - Hardware and tools required for assembly, including tools and wrenches, are supplied.
- Assembly entails several simple steps:
- Attaching the pre-assembled tilt mechanism to the support bar
- Attaching the lower actuating rod to the tilt mechanism
- Connecting upper actuating rod to the sliding mechanism
- Connecting support brackets to housing grip and support bar
- Attaching upper actuating rod to sliding mechanism
- Building the pole
- Connecting assembled pole to tilt mechanism
- Reversible washer has two sides: one that will let the tilt mechanism move freely, and another that will lock it into place. You can select the option you desire. Placing both washers in the same position allows for maximum efficiency.
- Once assembly is completed correctly, when pushing the sliding mechanism back and forth, the tilt movement will be free to complete its cycle. If it does not, then actuating rod length can be adjusted in order to accomplish this.
- Optional, ergonomic accessory grip is designed to be mounted on the upper section of the RCS pole and positioned so as to provide a comfortable position for the right hand. Also available, the optional Remote Grip Clamp (#19319) can be used to mount a remote grip to the RCS pole. Additionally, the #19320 Clamp, also sold separately, is used to mount various accessories.
