Product description The Archival Methods 5 x 7" 4-Ply Cotton Museum Board Pack (Polar White) consists of 25 boards that can be used for mounting, matting, and preservation of precious documents, fine prints, and traditional and digital photography. When used for window mats and mat backing for small prints, the 4-ply thickness provides a 1/16" (0.158 cm) separation between artwork and glazing, thus providing a flat and sturdy support.
Made entirely from cotton fiber, the Cotton Museum Boards are free of acid, alum, lignin, and optical brightening agents, and are colored using dyes that are non-bleeding, stable, and light-fast. Single ply sheets are laminated together using only natural adhesives. Calcium carbonate buffering prevents the pH of paper from decreasing with age. The boards are made using alkaline or neutral sizing, and come in a polar white finish. 4-Ply Cotton Museum Board Pack - Contains 25 museum boards each measuring 5 x 7" (12.7 x 17.78 cm)
