Product description The Arecont Vision MegaDome2 AV2256DN 2.07 Mp Day/Night WDR Camera with 3.4 to 10.5mm Varifocal Lens features H.264 (MPEG 4, Part 10) compression and provides full 1920 x 1080 megapixel resolution at full video frame rates of 41 fps. This all-in-one monitoring solution comes with an integrated 1.3 Mp camera and an IP66 and vandal-resistant dome enclosure. This high-sensitivity, PoE (IEEE 802.3af) compliant camera features PSIA compliance, privacy masking, extended motion detection, and flexible cropping. Built with massively-parallel MegaVideo technology, this camera offers over four times the resolution of standard resolution IP cameras with the ability to output full real-time frame rates and deliver high-quality megapixel imaging for both indoor and outdoor applications.
The camera delivers superior resolution to capture every detail whether viewing live or recorded/ archived video. With the ability to digitally Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) images, you can view the details you need to see at any time, such as license plates, faces and other objects of interest. The superior resolution of MegaDome 2 megapixel camera along with its varying field of view allows it to do the work of multiple conventional cameras and provide critical forensic information all without the need and associated expense of system operators having to catch activities of interest as they occur.
H.264 compliant compression allows full frame rates and full resolution without sacrificing image quality and offers H.264 and MJPEG dual compression support with simultaneous streaming. With bit rate control, the CPU load is decreased at both the client (decompression) side and the server/storage side, allowing lower bandwidth and storage relative to MJPEG. Real-Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) allows for compatibility with media players such as Apple QuickTime, VLC, and others.
WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) up to 100 dB at full resolution balances light and dark areas in the same scene, such as in the lobby of an office building or the loading dock at a distribution facility. Optional IR illuminators provide coverage in total darkness for a 24-hour solution. - Imaging
