Product description The Arecont Vision MegaDome2 AV5255DN 5 Mp Day/Night Camera with 3.4 to 10.5mm Varifocal Lens & Heater is fully compliant with H.264 (MPEG 4, Part 10) and provides full 2592 x 1994 Mp resolution at full video frame rates of 14 fps. The camera provides an all-in-one solution with an integrated 3 Mp camera, remote focus, remote zoom, auto iris lens, and an IP66 and vandal-resistant dome enclosure. With the features of PSIA compliance, privacy masking, extended motion detection and flexible cropping, the camera is a high-sensitivity, PoE (IEEE 802.3af) compliant camera. Built with massively-parallel MegaVideo technology, this camera offers over four times the resolution of standard resolution IP cameras with the ability to output full real-time frame rates and deliver high-quality Mp imaging for both indoor and outdoor applications. It features a built-in heater that is triggered by an internal thermostat when the ambient temperature drops to 32.9°F. The heater allows the camera to be used in low temperatures for uninterrupted surveillance. The camera delivers superior resolution to capture every detail whether viewing live or recorded/ archived video. With the ability to digitally Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) images, you can view the details you need to see at any time, such as license plates, faces and other objects of interest. The superior resolution of MegaDome 2 megapixel camera, along with its variable field of view, allows it to do the work of multiple conventional cameras and provide critical forensic information without the need and associated expense of system operators having to catch activities of interest as they occur. H.264 compliant compression allows full frame rates and full resolution without sacrificing image quality and offers H.264 and MJPEG dual compression support with simultaneous streaming. With bit rate control, the CPU load is decreased at both the client (decompression) side and the server/storage side, allowing lower bandwidth and storage relative to MJPEG. Real-Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) allows for compatibility with media players such as Apple QuickTime, VLC, and others. - Imaging
