Product description The 1x Apollo 320 60Hz Clip-On Thermal Weapon Sight from Armasight is an unmagnified accessory optic that mounts in front of a standard day scope. This multi-purpose thermal imager features a 42mm f/1.0 lens system, analog video output, and weather-sealed aluminum alloy housing. By distinguishing slight differences in the heat of objects within the field of view, thermal imagers are capable of seeing through smoke, fog, and dust—day or night. An uncooled FLIR Tau 2 thermal detector captures 324x256 resolution images at 60Hz, giving this Apollo configuration the imaging prowess needed for tactical engagements and intelligence gathering at close to mid-range distances. The integrated Picatinny rail permits the attachment of a laser aiming device or other compact rail-mountable accessory. Complementing the imaging performance and versatility of the Apollo thermal weapon sight is a shock-resistant aerospace aluminum alloy housing that is nitrogen-filled for fogproof and waterproof performance.
