Product description The 1x Apollo 640 30Hz Clip-On Thermal Weapon Sight from Armasight is an unmagnified accessory optic that mounts in front of a standard day scope. This multi-purpose thermal imager features a 42mm f/1.0 lens system, analog video output, and weather-sealed aluminum alloy housing. By distinguishing slight differences in the heat of objects within the field of view, thermal imagers are capable of seeing through smoke, fog, and dust—day or night.An uncooled FLIR Tau 2 thermal detector captures 640x512 resolution images at 30Hz, giving this Apollo configuration the imaging prowess needed for tactical engagements and intelligence gathering at almost any distance. The integrated Picatinny rail permits the attachment of a laser aiming device or other compact rail-mountable accessory. Complementing the imaging performance and versatility of the Apollo thermal weapon sight is a shock-resistant aerospace aluminum alloy housing that is nitrogen-filled for fogproof and waterproof performance. Note: Export of this device described herein is strictly prohibited without a valid export license issued by the U.S. Department of State office of Defense Trade Controls, as prescribed in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), Title 22, Code of Federal Regulation, Parts 120-130, and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
