Product description Bluetooth-capable, the Apollo-Pro MR 640 Thermal Imaging Clip-On from Armasight is a clip-on attachment that converts your daytime riflescope into a thermal imaging device. Its FLIR Tau-2 uncooled microbolometer detects long-wave infrared spectrum and allows you to see unilluminated heat sources in complete darkness through fog, smoke, foliage, and dust. The sensor has resolution of 640 x 512, 17µm pixel size, and refresh rate of 60 Hz. The optical system features a 50mm f/1.4 germanium lens with 1x magnification and digital zoom of up to 8x. Because this device is intended to be used as a clip-on attachment, the focus is fixed at infinity. To help you with aiming and fast target acquisition, it offers a multi-color digital reticle.
The built-in OLED SVGA video display features 800 x 600 pixel resolution and allows several viewing palettes: White Hot, Black Hot, Sepia, and OEM Custom. For documenting your observations, the imager is capable of relaying videos through a video-out port in NTSC and PAL formats. Use the 9-pin connector cable for updating the device software and to relay videos. Additionally, the operating system allows you to enhance videos with a selection of filter algorithms.
To enhance versatility, this thermal imager also features a Bluetooth, a wireless remote control, digital compass, digital inclinometer, and a battery status indicator.
To enable you to use it on any of your missions, it is designed to withstand extreme temperatures and submersion to 66' for maximum of 2 hours. You can mount it on Picatinny- or Weaver-style rails and detach via a quick release. It can be powered by four CR123A batteries, four AA batteries with a cartridge, or optional 6V power supply with current output of 1A. A special power management feature allows operating Apollo Pro on one CR123A battery for one hour. - Imaging Performance
