Product description Equipped with an uncooled 336x256 FLIR Tau 2 VOx microbolometer, the Command 336 HD 5-20x75 Thermal Bi-Ocula from Armasight by Flir allows users to detect sources of invisible to naked eye long wavelength infrared light from 7µm to 14µm, during day or night. For example, at night without help from visible illumination you will be able to detect running engines, hot wires, infrared lasers and lamps, live animals, humans, or other sources of heat. Additionally, because of different transmission properties of infrared light compared to visible light, the thermal imager will enable you to view your targets through smoke, fog, or dust. The optics feature a 72mm, f/1.0 germanium objective lens , 10.3° angular field of view, 33' minimum focus and a 16 mm eye relief.
You can view thermal profile of your targets through the built-in color AMOLED SVGA 060 color display or relay videos through the VGA video output port for viewing on an external monitor or for recording. The user-friendly menu allows you to choose between the NTS or PAL video formats. The built-in image processing also allows viewing imagery in different color modes: White Hot, Black Hot, Rainbow, and Various Colors. Additionally, the included remote control allows for a wireless operation.
The CNC-machined aluminum alloy housing is durable, waterproof and allows operators to use the Command 336 as a handheld device or connect it to a tripod via a 1/4"-20 socket. To provide a non slip grip, all adjustment rings are knurled. You can also mount additional accessories on a short Picatinny or Weaver style rail located on the right side. Other construction details include a tethered protective objective lens cap and rubber winged eye guards.
