Product description See through smoke, fog, and dust, day or night, with the Helios 640 2x42 30Hz Thermal Bi-Ocular from Armasight. This multi-purpose long-wave infrared handheld thermal imager features a 42mm f/1.1 lens system, 2x optical magnification, and up to 4x digital zoom. Customize the display output with different color modes for different situations or personal preference: White Hot, Black Hot, Rainbow, Fusion, Glowbow, and Ironbow. A video-out port and included cable enable the use of optional external recording or display equipment. Thermal imaging is extremely difficult to detect with other devices, as they emit no visible light or RF energy, unlike laser targeting or near-infrared illumination used with NVDs.The single objective reduces overall weight, while the dual oculars reduce the fatigue associated with a one-eye monocular Complementing the imaging performance and versatility of the Helios is an o-ring sealed aluminum alloy housing that provides waterproof performance. A wireless remote and Picatinny rail adapter are included to allow the user to control the Helios without removing their hands from their weapon. - Imaging Performance
