Product description See through smoke, fog, and dust, day or night, with the T14 640 1-8x25 Thermal Imaging Monocular and Headgear Kit from Armasight. Its FLIR Tau 2 uncooled microbolometer detects long-wave infrared and allows you to see heat emanating from humans, animals, and jet or internal combustion engines. The sensor has a resolution of 640 x 512, 17µm pixel size, and refresh rate of 30 Hz. The optical system features a 25mm f/1.1 germanium lens with 1x magnification and a digital zoom up to 8x. The built-in LED VGA display features 640 x 480-pixel resolution and can display several color palettes. For documenting your observations, the scope is capable of relaying videos through a video-out port in NTSC and PAL formats. Additionally, the operating system allows you to enhance video outputs with a selection of imaging filter algorithms. To withstand the rigors of hostile environments, the device can operate in extreme temperatures thanks to a durable water-resistant and fog-resistant glass-fiber housing. To provide a tactical advantage via hands-free operation, the kit includes a fully adjustable headband and a flip up mount. The headband will fit on your head or helmet, and securely holds the thermal imager in a line of sight via a flip-u mount.
