Product description This basic ARRI ALEXA FSND Filter Set includes four filters, an IFM shim, depth gauge, and hard-sided storage case with room for the included items as well as four additional filters. The filters that are included each come installed in a filter frame making swapping filters a simple and quick operation. The optical clear, ND 0.6, 1.2, and 1.8 fit into your ALEXA XT, SXT, and ALEXA Classic with the IFM upgrade.
The included shim is required for use when using any of the four filters to maintain proper collimation. Installing and removing the filter is made simple using the included insertion tool. An included depth gauge allows you to check the clearance of lenses when using the IFM-1 filters, without having to mount the lens to the camera. A hard-sided carrying case features custom cut foam, and can hold up to 8 filters. - Behind-the-lens filters for use with ARRI ALEXA XT and SXT. You can also use these filters with an ARRI ALEXA Classic which has had the IFM-1 upgrade.
- Behind-the-lens filters are less subject to flare and veiling glare.
- The included shim is required to maintain proper collimation of your lens when using one of the included behind the lens filters.
- You can use the included ND filters to help control exposure, and when switching between the IFM FSND filters no recollimation should be necessary. If you do not want to use the included ND filters, you must either remove the shim, or use the included optical clear filter for consistent collimation.
