Product description ARRI Lensesthe Current Professional Standard in Cinema Read More The ARRI/Fujinon 45-250mm Alura Studio Zoom (Feet) is a long PL-mount lens that covers up to Super 35mm-sized camera sensors and is optimized for the ARRI ALEXA 2K 16:9 format. The 45-250mm Alura features a fast T2.6 aperture throughout its zoom range and cine-style lens ergonomics. The 45-250mm is the longer of two Alura Studio zooms, complementing the wider 18-80mm lens. Both are designed with color characteristics to match ARRI's wide selection of existing lenses.The Alura zooms' optical features include high resolution and contrast performance, a multi-layer coating to reduce flares and veiling, reduced chromatic aberration, and minimized breathing while focusing. A nine-bladed iris produces a rounded, natural-looking bokeh (out-of-focus highlights).Focus, zoom, and iris barrels are geared in 0.8 mod pitch for interfacing with industry-standard lens accessories such as follow focus units and wireless F/I/Z controls. For easier focus pulling, large focus scales are placed on both sides of the lens barrel. Marked in feet, the focus scales can be quickly changed to meters by an authorized ARRI service provider. Exchangeable front and rear elements are easily serviced and can potentially extend the life of your Alura. - Fast T2.6 is consistent across the entire 45-250mm zoom range
- Optimized for the ARRI ALEXA 2K 16:9 format, the Aluras cover up to Super 35mm camera sensors
- Industry standard 0.8 film pitch gears for focus, zoom, and iris control
- A 9-blade iris produces rounded, natural looking bokeh (out-of-focus highlights)
