Product description The Electronic High Speed Ballast from Arri provides reliable and powerful daylight systems for modern location filming. Its compact size and features such as automatic compensation for cable losses, makes it the first choice for many box office productions. It allows 6,000 and 9,000 W discharge lamps to be used for high-speed recording up to 1,000 fps and beyond. This high-speed ballast offers AutoScan feature that ensures optimum light and image quality. Users can select between fully automatic operations (AutoScan) and manual frequency control (Man), or combine manual frequency setting with automatic monitoring and adjustment (AutoMan). In addition, features such as ALF (Active Line Filter), CCL (Compensation of Cable Losses), and DMX control are included. For maximum ease of use, the indicators on the ballast’s front panel display the lamp wattage, DMX channel, operation mode, and the selected lamp frequency. - High Speed operation of 9,000W daylight lamps
