Product description The C1 Cardioid FET Condenser Microphone with Pad & Roll-Off Switch from ART is for capturing audio in live-sound and remote-recording applications. It features 48V phantom power, a low-mass diaphragm, and a high-quality 34mm capsule that delivers a clear tone with accurate sonic details. The cardioid polar pattern offers excellent feedback rejection and is suitable for most vocal applications, solo instruments, background brass, woodwinds, acoustic stringed instruments, drums and percussion instruments, and more. It offers a full-frequency response at the front of the microphone with a very controlled and predictable proximity effect.Additionally, controls on the microphone include a -6 and -12 dB pad switch, allowing for distortion-free reproduction of extremely loud at-source signals, and a two-position -12 dB/octave low-frequency roll-off switch at 100 & 200 Hz that reduces unnecessary low-end 'boominess' and low-frequency interference.Furthermore, it is built with a precision-tooled microphone body and a dent-resistant, stainless-steel wire-mesh windscreen, which ensures long-term reliability. The C1 comes equipped with a custom shockmount. An aluminum carry case is also included.
