Product description The T4 Multi-Pattern Tube Microphone from ART is designed for both critical vocals and instruments, and delivers nine different polar patterns including the standard cardioid, figure-8, and omnidirectional settings. It can be used by musicians and engineers in recording studios, rehearsals, broadcasts, and vocal applications. In vocal applications where an omnidirectional pattern isn't quite 'fat' enough, but cardioid is too narrow, you now have three additional steps to find the right subtle mix between those two standard patterns. With the ART T4 you can use the proximity effect of a cardioid, yet still open up the microphone to hear some of the natural early reflections of a good-sounding live room. Furthermore, the microphone has a precision-tooled microphone body and dent-resistant stainless-steel wire-mesh windscreen that protects the internal tube, advanced electronics, and dual microphone capsules ensuring long-term reliability. The mic is powered by the external low-noise power supply, and the constant voltage ensures quiet operation. In addition, the T4 comes equipped with a secure, custom microphone shockmount, a 7-pin XLR cable, a microphone wood box, and an additional aluminum carry case for added protection. - Low Noise External Power Supply
- The T4 has nine available polar patterns, selectable from the front panel of the external power supply unit. Rather than limiting the user to only the three most common patterns (omnidirectional, cardioid, and figure-8 patterns), the T4 has three gradient stages between each of those positions allowing the artist and recording engineer a wider tone pallet
- Shockmount Cradle Adaptor
- Stops noise from transferring through the floor and mic stand to the sensitive microphone capsule
- 7-pin XLR Shielded Microphone Cable
- Provides a clean signal from the microphone while transferring power to the drive capsule and the preamp
