Product description The ART TransY is a 1 RU rack-mountable, two-channel FET compressor/limiter designed to deliver dynamics processing with enhanced flexibility, minimal noise, and low distortion for musicians and audio engineers in recording studios and live stage applications. Its linkable channels allow stereo or dual-mono operation and can be independently bypassed. Each channel features twelve selectable ratios and adjustable threshold, output, attack, and release. Additionally, up to 16 dB of de-essing at 6 kHz is available per channel. XLR and 1/4" balanced inputs and outputs enable proper connectivity with audio interfaces and mixing consoles. Use the 1/4" detector I/O to insert outboard gear before each channel's sidechain. Ten-segment LEDs provide easy metering of gain reduction and input/output levels. The TransY's included 48 VDC external power supply utilizes a locking connector to prevent accidental disconnects. - Two channels of dynamics processing
- Selectable stereo linking
- Low-noise, low-THD discrete transistor audio path
- Servo-controlled FET gain reduction circuit
- Custom output transformer reduces ground noise and maintains level for balanced and unbalanced connections
- XLR and 1/4" balanced inputs and outputs
- Per-channel 1/4" detector I/O allow insertion of outboard gear before the sidechain
- Selectable ratios via stepped rotary control
- Variable threshold and output levels per channel
- Variable attack and release controls per channel
- Selectable +4 dBu or -10 dBV operating level
- Hardwire bypass simplifies troubleshooting and functions even when power is lost
- Ten-segment gain reduction LEDs
