Product description The black Artiphon INSTRUMENT 1 is a portable MIDI controller and multi-instrument designed to provide versatile playing and expression styles for producers, musicians, and beatmakers in writing sessions, on-the-go idea exploration, and studio and live stage productions. It features six digital strings and 12 frets on a velocity- and pressure-sensitive fingerboard, which can be configured in one of several stringed or pad-based modes. An integrated accelerometer offers mod wheel control via physical movement.Play the guitar, violin, piano, or drum instrument presets, or trigger sounds in your favorite DAW. The INSTRUMENT 1 supports MIDI and audio via USB and is customizable via the Artiphon iOS app. Listen through the built-in stereo speakers or monitor through headphones plugged into the 3.5mm TRRS mini-jack, which also serves as a microphone input.Power can be sourced from the included 12 VDC power supply or the internal 6-hour rechargeable battery. Weighing in at only 1.6 lb, it can easily be transported anywhere your creativity takes you. - Pressure- and velocity-sensitive fingerboard with six digital strings and 12 frets
