Product description The electronic download of SEM-Filter License from Arturia is virtual software that models Tom Oberheim's original SEM, or Synth Expander Module. The SEM-Filter serves many purposes like adding polyphony, fattening up sound, and performing sequences in a supporting role for a main synthesizer. Oberheim's brainchild instrument is now considered a classic and can be used by producers, sound engineers, and artists on Mac and Windows computers, to capture a taste of that harmonically rich, classic tone in your DAW and music programs.The 12 dB per octave multimode filter helped define the sonic identity of Oberheim's popular 70s synth, because it shaped a diverse range of sounds that were almost impossible to get on other synthesizers. The SEM-Filter not only carefully models the crossfadable modes of the filter—low-pass, high-pass, notch and band-pass—but also expands its functionality and features to create a natural-sounding, versatile filter plugin that you'll want to use on every track you create. - Main Features
