Product description SPARK Vintage from Arturia is a virtual drum instrument that features thirty legendary drum machines from the 60's, 70's and 80's. The virtual instrument is not a typical sample player, rather mixes samples and virtual analog synthesis (based on TAE) to capture the unique sounds of the original hardware. From the percussion sounds of the Roland CR-78 and Korg Mini Pops 7, to the punch of the TR-series, all the models are accessible in a single easy-to-use interface.
The software instrument features a 16-step sequencer inspired by the original TR-series drum machines, with pattern length expandable to 32, 48 and 64 steps. Additionally, the eight drum pads can be mapped to a MIDI keyboard for manual event-entry, as can the instrument's key knobs and pads for hands-on control of the interface. Also included is a dedicated mixer with sixteen stereo outputs that can be easily routed to independent DAW tracks. Fourteen audio effects help refine a drum mix.
Ideal for live performance, an X/Y Pad offers real-time filtering and slicing, to quickly generate breaks. It features three types of filters (low-, high-, and band-pass), repeat, repeat mix, bit crusher, reverse, tape, strobe and pan. An advanced Looper allows for dividing the loop size while simultaneously moving the loop points. This feature allows for stutter dynamics, and combined with the use of the X/Y Pad even more live effects can be generated.
Patterns can be exported in WAV and MIDI formats directly into a DAW via drag and drop. This becomes handy when working with loops and there is a need to quickly hear an idea in the context of a full production. -
