Product description The NXE Series 4-Channel Networkable Multi-Mode Power Amplifier from Ashly comes pre-installed with OPAES2 2-channel AES3 input with pass-thru and OPDAC4 internal 4-Channel DAC with selectable HPF cards. It is capable of driving 2 Ohms loads at full power and offers a maximum rated output power of 3000W per channel at Low Z mode, 2450W at 70V mode, and 1250W in 100V mode. In addition, the amplifier is suitable for use in performance venues, stadiums, arenas, convention centers as well as schools, store fronts, and places of worship. The multi-mode amplifier features an automatic but defeatable sleep mode consuming <1W, and instant standby mode controlled by contact closure or software. A switch mode power supply can auto-detect 120 or 240 VAC mains, and a Neutrik powerCON is used for the AC cord. Each channel features a selectable output mode of Low Z, 70V, or 100V, an 80 Hz high-pass filter, input limiter, and input gain settings of 26 dB, 32 dB, 38 dB, or 1.4V. Each channel comes with a remote DC level control. The amplifier comes with Neutrik XLR/TRS combo jack and Euroblock input connectors and Neutrik speakON output connectors. The unit features a front panel power switch and level controls that can be disabled. The LEDs indicate Protect, Sleep, Disabled, Com, and Bridge mode status, as well as Temperature, Output Current, Output Signal, and Clipping/Mute status per channel. In addition, the power amplifier features an Ethernet control with a real-time clock for event scheduling. The power amplifier is equipped with serial data remote control, aux preamp outputs, preset control, and fault condition logic outputs. It also features a temperature dependent variable speed forced-air cooling. In addition, the amplifier can be mounted on a standard 19” rack. - Ethernet control using Protea NE software
- Serial data control by Ashly programmable remotes or third party controllers
- Aux preamp outputs, instant standby mode, preset recall, fault condition logic outputs, optional Dante, and CobraNet
- AES3 digital audio capability via the OPAES2 2-channel AES3 input with pass-thru card
- Real-time clock with event scheduler
- Assign automatic execution of selected functions and tasks
- Event scheduler is programmed using PneS software and stored in the amplifier
- Ashly remote control via iPad app for custom design of secure wireless control over a network
- Features a switch-mode power supply that automatically detects 120 or 240 VAC operation
- Selectable outputs on each channel allow you to choose the desired output mode
- Set the DIP-switch configuration for low impedance (2, 4, and 8 Ohms), or constant voltage (70V or 100V)
- Ashly EMS (Energy Management System) provides an automatic sleep-mode drawing less than 1W (defeatable)
- Multiple internal power supplies provide increased channel separation and reliability
- Selectable 80 Hz hi-pass filter, limiter, and input gain per channel via rear panel
- Remote DC level control per channel
- Extensive protection circuitry and continuously variable cooling fans
- Ethernet port for software control and monitoring of amplifier functions with front panel COM activity LED
- Serial data port available for optional Ashly WR-5 and RD-8C programmable remote controls (optional RS-232 converter INA-1 available for third party controllers)
- Instant standby mode results in 30% reduction in idle power consumption that is triggered by contact closure, software control, or event scheduler
- Preset recall via contact closure, software control, remote control, or event scheduler
- Programmable power-on delay
- Aux preamp line outputs for driving other amplifiers
- Assignable fault condition logic outputs
- Neutrik Combo XLR - 1/4" TRS jack plus Euroblock input connectors
- Neutrik speakON twist locking loudspeaker connectors
- Neutrik powerCON detachable AC mains connector
