By gaining 8 - 10 stops of light, this adapter delivers bright night vision imaging that is suitable for broadcast television, criminal investigation, and special operations documentation. The AstroScope 43 mm adapter bracket assemblies are specifically designed for fixed-lens camcorders, producing high-quality images under demanding field conditions. The AstroScope Central Intensifier Unit (sold separately) features a 3rd generation intensifier tube that transforms dark scenes (below 10^-4 lux) into high-contrast, high-resolution night vision images you can now capture on video with the AstroScope HDV adapter. - High Definition Night Vision Video
