Product description Basic Laptops The 11.6" 32GB Chromebook 12 from ASUS is a thin and compact computing solution that's ideal for students and users who work on the go. Specs-wise, it's equipped with a 1.1 GHz Intel Celeron N3350 dual-core processor and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM for tackling everyday tasks such as browsing the internet, composing and editing documents, and more. Like most Chromebooks, storage space is limited, so the Chromebook 12 only has 32GB of built-in eMMC storage; however, you can easily expand that with external USB or microSD storage solutions. Its 11.6" display, driven by integrated Intel HD graphics, has a 1366 x 768 resolution for crisp and clear HD content. Other integrated features include 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB Type-A and Type-C ports, a webcam, microphone, speakers, and a combo 3.5mm audio jack. The operating system installed is Chrome OS. - Chrome OS
- Using Linux as a base, Google designed Chrome OS to work exclusively with web applications. The user interface takes a minimalist approach, which greatly resembles the Google Chrome web browser. Chrome OS was built for people who spend a majority, if not all, of their time on the computer connected to the internet. The only application that comes installed on Chrome OS is a special Google Chrome web browser with an integrated media player and file manager. All other applications are accessed by adding apps from the Google Chrome Web Store. Since Chrome OS relies entirely on Google's web apps and access to Google's services, it is highly recommended that you connect to the internet to optimize your Chrome OS experience.

- The battery within the Chromebook 12 is designed to last up to 10 hours on a single charge. Actual battery life will vary depending on use.
- Keyboard
- The Chromebook 12 has an ergonomically designed keyboard with a 1.5mm key travel distance for your typing comfort. Moreover, it's spill-proof so you won't have to worry about small spills and drops.
- Google Play
- Centered around Google services, the Chromebook 12 also supports the Google Play Store, so you can use all your favorite Android work, play, and creative apps.
