Product description

Basic Laptops The 15.6" 32GB 523 Chromebook from ASUS features a 15.6" NanoEdge display with thin bezels for a 78% screen-to-body ratio. Moreover, its 180° hinge lets you lay it flat for an easier time sharing onscreen content with others. Specs-wise, it's built with a 1.1 GHz Intel Celeron N3350 dual-core processor, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 32GB of eMMC storage. Its display, which is driven by integrated Intel HD graphics, has a 1366 x 768 resolution for crisp, clear HD content playback. Other integrated features include 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a microSDXC card reader, USB Type-A & Type-C ports, a webcam, microphones, speakers, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. The operating system installed is Chrome OS.

Please note that in order to take full advantage of Chrome OS, you will need to be connected to the Internet.

  • Using Linux as a base, Google designed Chrome OS to work exclusively with web applications. The user interface takes a minimalist approach, which greatly resembles the Google Chrome web browser. Chrome OS was built for people who spend a majority, if not all, of their time on the computer connected to the Internet. The only application that comes installed on Chrome OS is a special Google Chrome web browser with an integrated media player and file manager. All other applications are accessed by adding apps from the Google Chrome Web Store. Since Chrome OS relies entirely on Google's web apps and access to Google's services, it is highly recommended that you connect to the Internet to optimize your Chrome OS experience.

  • Built with dual stereo speakers, the Chromebook C523 can deliver surround-sound effects and crisp, powerful sound for an immersive listening experience.

  • To keep up with your busy day-to-day life, the Chromebook C523 is designed to last for up to 10 hours on a single charge. Please note that battery life will vary depending on use.
    USB Type-C
  • The two USB Type-C ports on the Chromebook C523 adhere to USB 3.1 Gen 1 standards, capable of transferring data at up to 5 Gb/s, delivering power, and even connecting displays via DP Alt mode.
