Product description Ready for 7th Generation Intel Core Kaby Lake processors, the Prime B250M-C/CSM LGA 1151 Micro-ATX Motherboard from ASUS delivers customizable performance. 5X Protection III with FanXpert 2 PLUS provides hardware-level safeguards, 8-channel HD audio delivers clear sound, and M.2 and USB 3.0 ports deliver fast data transfers. This motherboard is designed to fit in micro-ATX sized cases and supports both 6th and 7th generation Intel Core i7, i5, i3, Pentium, and Celeron processors, the LGA 1151 socket, and the B250 chipset. This motherboard is compatible with Windows 10 (64-bit), 8.1 (64-bit), and 7 (32/64-bit) operating systems.
The micro-ATX form factor of the Prime B250M-C/CSM can support 64GB of RAM and comes with four dual-channel DIMM slots that can each hold 16GB of DDR4 2400 or 2133 MHz memory. It also has a total of 6 x SATA III 6 Gb/s ports, 2 x M.2 Socket 3 connectors that support SATA & PCIe SSDs, 6 x USB 3.0 ports, 6 x USB 2.0/1.1 ports, and 1 x Gigabit LAN port. For those looking to expand their system using PCIe, there is 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 slot and 2 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x1 slots. There is also a single legacy PCI port.
For delivering sharp, clear graphics, this motherboard contains integrated Intel HD Graphics with access to up to 1,024MB of shared graphics memory and is equipped with DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI, and VGA video outputs. Using the 8-Channel ALC 887 HD audio codec, this motherboard can support audio with higher fidelity than standard controllers. This motherboard is protected by a limited 3-year warranty.
