Product description Powered exclusively by 8th and 9th Generation Intel Core, Pentium Gold, and Celeron processors, the Republic of Gamers Maximus XI Formula LGA 1151 ATX Motherboard from ASUS is designed for gaming with CrossChill EK III and Water Cooling Zone, Aura Sync RGB lighting, 5G and Gigabit LAN, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, dual M.2 slots, USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C and Type-A, 5-Way Optimization with AI Overclocking, SupremeFX and Sonic Studio III, and more. This motherboard is designed to fit in ATX sized cases, supports the LGA 1151 socket, the Intel Z390 chipset, and is compatible with Windows 10 (64-bit).
The ATX form factor of the Maximus XI Formula can support up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM over four dual-channel slots, or 16GB per slot at speeds of 4400 (OC), 4266 (OC) 4133 (OC), 4000 (OC), 3866 (OC), 3733 (OC), 3600 (OC), 3466 (OC), 3400 (OC), 3333 (OC), 3300 (OC), 3200 (OC), 3000 (OC), 2800 (OC), 2666 (OC), 2400 (OC), and 2133 MHz non-ECC unbuffered memory. For storage, there are six SATA III 6 Gb/s ports and two M.2 Socket 3 with M key, one of which supports type 2242, 2260, 2280, and 22110 PCIe 3.0 x4 and SATA SSDs, while the other supports type 2242, 2260, and 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 SSDs.
