Product description The ASUS Republic of Gamers Strix Z370-I Gaming Motherboard provides an Intel Z370 chipset, LGA1151 socket, and mini-ITX form factor, so you can build a compact desktop system that runs on an 8th-generation Intel Core processor. The mini-ITX motherboard has enough space to offer one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot along with two DIMM slots. With a double-decker design, the Strix Z370-I lets you install up to two M.2 SSDs. For optical and 2.5"/3.5" storage drives, four SATA connectors are available. Other notable features include built-in LEDs along with an internal module that delivers 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 wireless connectivity.
This Strix Z370-I motherboard has four USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports as well as DisplayPort and HDMI outputs, which utilize your processor's integrated graphics chipset to deliver up to 4K visuals. To complete the multimedia package, ROG's SupremeFX S1220A audio processor produces clear sounds through the motherboard's six audio jacks. Additionally, reliable Internet access can be accomplished by using the motherboard's Gigabit Ethernet port. - Intel Z370 Chipset
- The Intel Z370 is a single-chipset design that supports 8th-generation Intel Core LGA1151 processors. It provides improved performance by utilizing serial point-to-point links, allowing increased bandwidth and stability. Additionally, the Z370 provides a maximum of ten USB 3.0 ports, six SATA 6 Gbps ports, and 32 Gbps M.2 and PCIe 3.0 lane speed support, for faster data retrieval. Intel Z370 also supports integrated-graphics.
- LGA1151 Core Processors
- This motherboard supports 8th Generation Intel Core processors in the LGA1151 package. With integrated graphics, memory, and PCI Express controllers, it supports onboard graphics output with dedicated chipsets, dual-channel (4-DIMM) DDR4 memory, and 16 PCI Express 3.0/2.0 lanes.
- ASUS Aura
- ASUS Aura offers full RGB lighting control with a variety of functional presets for the built-in RGB LEDs and an optional RGB strip connected to the onboard RGB header. It provides Static, Breathing, Strobing, Rainbow, Color Cycle, Comet, Flash & Dash, Wave, Glowing Yo-Yo, Starry Night, Music, and CPU temperature effects.
- Double Decker Heatsink
- The ROG Strix Z370-I Gaming has a double-decker heatsink design that allows the M.2 SSD to be stacked on top of the PCH heatsink, which is then topped off with an additional metal heatsink for the M.2 drive. The two heatsinks are thermally isolated to prevent the PCH and M.2 from affecting each other. The double-decker design maximizes the board space on a mini-ITX board and also improves heat dissipation.
- 5-Way Optimization
- With one click, ASUS 5-Way Optimization dynamically optimizes essential aspects of the system, providing overclocking and cooling profiles that are tailored for performance.
- TurboV Processing Unit (TPU) offers the ability to fine-tune voltages, monitor system stats, and adjust overclock parameters for optimal performance
- EPU automatically optimizes power consumption and maximizes savings with Away mode
- Fan Xpert 4 grants comprehensive control over fans and all-in-one (AIO) liquid coolers
- Digi+ delivers real-time control over voltage droop, switching frequency, and power -efficiency settings, allowing you to fine-tune CPU voltage regulation
- Turbo App allows you to define CPU overclocking, apply fan profiles, prioritize network data and optimize audio settings
- DDR4 Overclocking
- ASUS OptiMem preserves memory signal integrity by routing memory traces to an optimal PCB layer, and a T-Topology layout ensures time-aligned signals by balancing trace lengths between memory slots. These enhancements offer more overclocking headroom and stability, allowing memory speeds of DDR4-4333 and higher with all slots populated.
- SupremeFX
- ROG Strix's SupremeFX audio technology delivers a 113dB signal-to-noise ratio on the line-in connection for quality recording and 120dB on the line-out connection for clear sound. There's also a low-dropout regulator for clean power delivery to the SupremeFX S1220A codec. To provide high gain with low distortion, Texas Instruments RC4580 and OPA1688 op-amps are on board. Moreover, an audio cover and line shielding help preserve the audio signal.
- Additional Features
