Product description Supporting the 802.11ac Wi-Fi network standard, the RT-AC51U AC750 Wireless Dual-Band Fast Ethernet Router from ASUS is capable of wireless data transmission speeds of up to 733 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac support, this ASUS router also operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies allowing users to connect to the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more data intensive tasks such as streaming multimedia content, downloading large files, and more. The dual 5 dBi antennas help to produce a stronger signal reaching areas that may otherwise be outside the reach of comparable wireless routers. If a wired connection is needed, the RT-AC51U comes equipped with four Fast Ethernet LAN ports to connect Ethernet enabled devices directly to the network.
Once configured, the person administering the network can utilize the ASUSWRT dashboard to set up, monitor and control a variety of network applications such as Quality of Service settings and the ability to monitor web usage. In addition to the hard wired network ports, this ASUS router comes equipped with a single USB 2.0 port designed to connect external storage devices, printers, and other USB enabled devices directly to the network. Another feature offered by the RT-AC51U is ASUS AiCloud which makes files and other network resources available from virtually anywhere via an iOS or Android mobile device or a web browser. - 802.11ac Wireless Connectivity
