Product description With wireless data transfer rates of up to 900 Mbps, the RT-N66R N900 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router from ASUS makes it easy to transfer large files, stream multimedia content to tablets, TVs, and smartphones, and much more. Operating on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies users can connect to the 5 GHz frequency for a more stable, faster, less congested connection. The detachable wireless antennas offer enhanced coverage to virtually eliminate those dreaded dead spots. With the ASUS RT-N66R it is even possible to access devices such as USB hard drives and printers connected to either of the router's USB ports directly through the network. If a wired connection is needed this router comes equipped with four Gigabit LAN ports offering a reliable, wired Ethernet connection.
Setup and configuration of the RT-N66R is simple and can be accomplished through three easy steps from nearly any smartphone, tablet, or computer. Once the initial setup is complete, the network admin can then utilize a variety of tools provided by the ASUSWRT Dashboard including management of clients and allocation of network resources. You can even optimize network connectivity settings using intuitive Quality of Service functionality making it easy to allocate bandwidth to specific applications and or devices.
