Product description The ASUS ThunderboltEX 3 Expansion Card provides a single Thunderbolt 3 port for motherboards that have an available PCIe 3.0 x4 slot, Thunderbolt header, and DisplayPort. The Thunderbolt 3 port sports a reversible USB Type-C interface and delivers a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s. The port supports USB 3.1 at up to 10 Gb/s as well as DisplayPort 1.2, allowing you to connect multiple displays simultaneously. With USB Power Delivery specification, it charges USB Type-C devices with up to 36W of power. You can daisy chain up to six Thunderbolt-equipped devices from a single Thunderbolt 3 port. In addition to Thunderbolt 3, this expansion card comes with a USB 3.1 Type-A port with 10 Gb/s speeds. - Thunderbolt 3 Speed

- By integrating reversible USB 3.1 Type-C and DisplayPort 1.2, the ThunderboltEX 3 is compatible with high-speed devices, from external drives to 4K UHD displays. ThunderboltEX 3 supports the USB Power Delivery specification for charging of up to 36W. You can even daisy-chain up to six devices from a single port. The card also includes an additional USB 3.1 Type-A connector.
