In addition to a 16MP rear camera and a 20MP front-facing camera, each side of the phone has an additional second wide-angle camera. Both wide-angle cameras have a 120-degree wide-angle field of view. Take selfies that includes all your friends and capture more dramatic landscape photos. The 5Q also has a host of other camera features to give you the ability to get the exact shots you're looking for.
The ZenFone 5Q might be photo-forward, but ASUS knows you also use your smartphone for entertainment. Games and streaming videos can enjoy the 6" FHD 2160 x 1080 display, with a cinematic 18:9 widescreen aspect ratio. The display is constructed to go edge-to-edge, packing those six inches into a compact, pocket-friendly frame.
Running the Android 7 Nougat operating system, this phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Octa-Core processor and 4GB of RAM. You can store your apps, 120-degree selfies, and 4K vids on 64GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded via an (optional) microSD card up to 2TB in size.
This phone is unlocked and compatible with GSM/4G LTE networks. If you travel a lot or have a separate work number, you can take advantage of the Dual SIM slots to access both accounts. You get three SIM slots, so if you want to upgrade the 5Q's storage capacity, you don't have to sacrifice a SIM slot. Connect to the internet and other devices with built-in 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2.4+5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. The ZenFone 5Q also supports NFC technology for making phone-to-phone data transfers, or mobile payments via Google Pay. - Android 7 Nougat
- The Android operating system integrates heavily with Google's services. Using the card-based Google Now, Android quickly surfaces information for you whenever you need it, powered by the same Knowledge Engine that runs Google's web search. It's a personalized and customizable OS, allowing you to add your favorite apps or widgets to your homescreen. You can even download new themes using the Google Play Store, which offers access to more than one million apps, games, books, music, movies, and more. Android 7.0 Nougat adds major productivity capabilities to the operating system in the form of a multi-window view, which allows for two apps to be placed onscreen at a time. An improved notification system allows you to interact with texts and emails right from your notification pane - without needing to open the app. Other features include file-based encryption, a Data Saver mode, the ability to scale text and icons to better suit your phone's screen, and more.

It can also be used in other parts of the world; however, LTE access may be limited or unsupported, depending on the network. To ensure this phone will work with your carrier please check to make sure the frequencies your carrier uses are supported by this phone. - Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS)
- Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) allows you to lower your mobile costs when traveling while staying connected. Once your SIM cards are installed, you will be able to receive phone calls and text messages from either without needing to manually choose which one is active. When you want to make a call or send an SMS message, you can select the correct SIM card. When one SIM card is being used for a phone call, the other will not be active until you hang up. Operator charges may apply.

- ASUS continues the photo love with ASUS PixelMaster technology, which is designed to give you beautiful bokeh for your portraits., and automatic HDR and low-light optimizations, which takes the guesswork out of getting high-quality, high-contrast shots in nearly any lighting condition. The rear camera is also capable of focusing on your subjects in approx. 0.03 seconds with phase-detection autofocus, helping you capture every moment. If you want the ultimate control of your snapshots, use Pro Mode for DSLR-like functionality of the ZenFone 5Q's settings.
ASUS has also put in functionality to help make you, and everyone else, look their best when you post your pics on social media. Utilize the 10-level beauty mode to enhance everyone's features, and the Softlight LED flash is designed to illuminate your selfies without being too harsh.
When it comes to full-motion video, the rear camera can produce crisp and detailed Ultra HD 4K clips, while the front-facing camera can capture Full HD 1080p selfie videos. If you drop your resolution down to Full HD 1080p on the rear camera, you get to use electronic image stabilization to help keep the jitter out of your movies. - Keep Your Data Secure
- The ZenFone 5Q protects your information with both facial-recognition and a built-in rear fingerprint sensor. The facial-recognition will unlock your phone if it detects your face but will not only keep your phone locked if it detects another person's face, but will also hide your lock screen's notifications. The fingerprint sensor has been designed to be able to open your phone in approximately 0.3 seconds, and damp fingerprint recognition helps unlock your phone on a rainy day.
