Product description This Kit provides an Asustor AS3104T 4-Bay NAS Enclosure along with four 6TB NAS-optimized hard drives so you can build a storage system that shares files and multimedia. The included 3.5", SATA-based drives are built to run reliably all day and can be installed inside the enclosure's four drive bays without the need for tools. With access to four drives, this kit offers a wider variety of RAID configurations over a two-bay system. You can set the drives to run under a JBOD, RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, or 10, which delivers the benefits of RAID 1 and 0 under a single array.
Once the drives are mounted, the AS3104T is well suited for storing media and files in one location, letting you share content with all your connected equipment. Connecting this server to your network is done by an onboard Gigabit Ethernet port. With built-in hardware encryption and transcoding, this NAS solution is capable of safeguarding your sensitive data as well as translating multimedia content to a suitable format for your notebook, TV, and mobile device. Connect to your network via its Gigabit Ethernet port, and use the three USB 3.0 Type-A ports for additional device compatibility. The Asustor NAS provides optimal data protection through RAID technology, automatic backup solutions, as well as built-in hardware encryption. When paired with mobile applications (iOS and Android), Asustor's exclusive Cloud Connect technology lets you access data on your NAS device from anywhere with an Internet connection. This drive also features high levels of reliability, with 600,000 load/unload cycles, <10 in 1014 non-recoverable read errors per bits read, error recovery controls, and 1,000,000 hours MTBF for 1-8 bay NAS systems.
