Product description The 4-Port Cat 5 USB 2.0 Extender from ATEN enables users to extend the standard 16' (5m) cable limit for USB peripheral devices. It comes with a transmitter/local unit and receiver/remote unit. Up to four USB devices can be connected to the remote unit up to 328' from the computer (local unit location), or up to 11 devices across three connected USB hubs. I had a problem with Paperport loading. Through the remote efforts of a Tech was able to get back online, however, "settings" are only listed 1 - 5 with no action listed as was 'visibly' available, (i.e. Scan both sides, Black and White, Color, etc.)
