Product description The Aten CLCS1308MUKIT 17" LCD Console, 8-Port KVM Switch, and 8 Cable Bundle is comprised of the Aten CL1000M 17" LCD Console and the Aten CS1308 8-Port USB PS/2 KVM Switch. The CL1000M LCD Console is a KVM console module that serves as the front-end for standard KVM switches. The CL1000M features an integrated 17" LCD panel, full keyboard, and touchpad in a 1U, rack-mountable, and Slideaway housing. Users who already have a KVM switch can install the CL1000M LCD KVM console without having to purchase a KVM switch.
The CS1308 8-Port USB PS/2 KVM Switch lets you to control 8 computers from a single keyboard, mouse, and monitor, or, utilizing the 2-level cascade setup, up to 64 computers from the single console. The switch supports both USB and PS/2 connections for the console and computers as well as USB keyboards and mice. The switch features Video DynaSync technology, ATEN's extended display identification data program, which remembers each monitor's parameters, eliminating boot-up display problems and optimizing display resolution when switching between ports.
The CS1308 KVM Switch allows computers to be selected via the front panel push-buttons, hotkeys, or on-screen display and added or removed from the console without powering down the switch. The two level password security option ensures only authorized users view and control the computers. The CS1308 is firmware upgradeable and does not require software installation. - A single console controls up to 8 computers

- Auto-senses station's position on daisy-chained installations; no need for manual dip switch setting; front panel led indicates station's position
- Port names automatically reconfigured when station sequence is changed
- Two level password security; only authorized users view and control computers; up to four users and an administrator with separate profiles for each
- Auto scan feature for monitoring user-selected computers
- Broadcast mode - operations simultaneously performed on all selected computers
- Hot pluggable - add or remove computers without having to power down the switch
- Buzzer on/off via hotkey and OSD
- Firmware upgrades to all the chained KVM switches at the same time via the daisy-chain cable
