Product description The CLCS1708IKIT LCD Console with 8-port IP KVM Bundle from Aten combines a 17" Single Rail LCD Console with an 8-port PS/2-USB KVM Over IP Switch for a full control center. The console functions as the front end of the switch, providing an integrated 17" LED-backlit LCD panel, a full keyboard, and a touchpad. The switch allows you to monitor and access up to 8 computers locally, and up to 128 computers through a daisy chain connection. When using the system remotely, you can access the switch over the Internet through a web browser with TCP/IP remote communications protocol. The CLCS1708IKIT features a message board, enabling the connected computers to communicate with each other through a program resembling an Internet chat session. The bundle supports security protocols, including a 128-bit SSL encryption for the browser, and an RC4 128-bit encryption for secure keyboard, mouse, and video data transmission. - Auto-senses the position of each station on daisy chained installations, and a front panel LED indicates the station's position

- Video DynaSync technology stores the console monitor's EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) to optimize display resolution
- Video resolutions of up to 2048 x 1536; DDC2B for the local console, and up to 1600 x 1200 @ 60Hz / 24-bit color depth for remote sessions
- Rack mountable in a 19" system rack
Management - Panel array mode enables you to monitor multiple servers from a single screen at the same time
- Up to 32 concurrent logins
- Perform simultaneous operations on all selected computers through the broadcast mode
- Port names automatically reconfigure when station sequence is changed
- Message board allows logged in users to communicate with each other, and allows a user to take exclusive control of the KVM functions
- On-screen keyboard with multilanguage support
