Product description The CV100KM PS/2 Emulator from Aten is designed to emulate a keyboard and mouse, allowing your computer to operate normally with or without an actual keyboard and mouse connected. By plugging the emulator in the computer's keyboard and mouse ports, the CV100KM appears to your computer's system as if there was an actual keyboard and mouse present. The emulator's circuitry allows seamless and fail-safe hot plugging of the keyboard and mouse, enabling you to hot swap the two peripherals among a variety of computers at any time. The emulator also works with just the keyboard or just the mouse present. Each of the emulator's ports is marked with an appropriate icon for the designated input, and there are LED lights that indicate when the peripheral is connected to your computer. These corresponding LED lights flash when the keyboard or mouse transmit data. - Ends computer lockup due to loss of KVM focus
- Prevents computer damage from keyboard failure
- Hot plugging of keyboard and mouse
- Allows your computer to boot up and run without a keyboard
- Uses computer's keyboard power source
- Supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, Linux, and FreeBSD
