Product description Multi-Monitors: Maximizing Multitasking Read More The KA7230S PS/2 USB Console Module from ATEN offers secure access to the servers in a matrix KVM switch from a PS/2 or USB console up to 656' away. It provides an extra computer port for integration with a computer workstation, enabling users to seamlessly switch between the local computer and the servers in the matrix KVM switch. The module also features an intuitive graphical user interface, graphical on-screen display, with easy-to-use menus and icons for easy access and efficient management.
The KA7230S has a built-in RS-232 port, allowing administrators to establish a serial terminal login and control the KVM port access for all consoles connected to switch. This function is useful in large data centers where the display of all the consoles can be projected onto a wall for easy viewing of all operations, and the entire installation can be monitored on a port-by-port basis. - Supports PS/2 and USB keyboards and mice
- Connects to a matrix KVM switch via Cat 5e/6 cable
